How We Do Retirement

  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here! Have a Jesus Picture! Sacrament Meeting. (I gave the prayer. Didn't mess the Spanish up too bad actually...), Sunday School, Missionary Correlation. And then we were supposed to have two lessons but both rescheduled. Back home, we ate lunch, took naps, read, studied Spanish, and watched a Christian Movie. And that was it. The boys had a chill day too and I actually took a picture of it. Enjoy! Retired/Missionary Life. Monday. Today was set aside for doing Mission Housing stuff. And we spent most of the day on that. 201 missionaries in our mission (was 189 last transfer), living in 62 apartments, to be inspected by 13 Stewards, organized and assigned by us. Organizing stuff is kind of like the work I did for a career and I enjoyed it. Other things needed to be done too. Like doing up the books and paying the bills. First, someone thought it was cool that most of us missionaries were wearing blue. Second, Hermana Racker is being transferred to the other Spanish Branch. And third, because as pictures started to be taken, folks started saying "hey! I wanna picture!!" So, yea, here we are, missionaries and the people of the Spanish Branch! Sacrament Meeting. Combined meeting on Ministering. Pictures. Our lesson after church cancelled. So, we ate sack lunches in the truck in the parking lot and then drove home. Read. Studied Spanish. Took a nap. Watched some church videos. And.....it was Fantasy Football Draft Night! My brothers, nephews and grandsons with some of our wives are all in a Fantasy Football League.
