  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. HAPPY SABBATH!! Here! Have a Jesus Picture! He LOVES YOU!! And HAPPY MOTHER'S DAY too!!! The usual line up. Sacrament Meeting. Men's Meeting. Missionary Correlation Meeting. At home we rested, read, ate pizza, and watched an episode of Heartland. Plus Hanna spent a bunch of time on the phone to various children and grandchildren that wanted to wish her a Happy Mother's Day. So, at church, when the Translator dude is the one that is giving the talk, what happens to the translating service? He handed it to Elder Peterson, one of the newest and greenest missionaries in the entire mission, and then proceeded to go on up front and give the talk. It was incredible to watch Elder Peterson read the talk in English while listening to it in Spanish. And his awesome companion from Peru helped him all along the way. TEAMWORK!! We love serving with these guys. They basically give up their lives for two entire years to serve the Lord and teach the Gospe...

  Retired/Missionary Life. Monday. It was supposed to be Revlimid Day. The day we stay home and wait for the FedEx dude to show up with Hanna's deadly cancer pills. They MUST be signed for. Well, he came, knocked (probably very softly....) left a note, and went back to town with the drugs still in his truck. We didn't hear him. (Did I mention I have a hearing test appointment this week???) Thankfully, Del also delivers for FedEx, just not out here, and he will grab the box and deliver it to us later personally. Today we planned our chaotic week, created scrumptious menus, put together a detailed grocery list, typed it into the Safeway App, pressed submit, and watched money pour out of our bank account, just like that. Hanna also showered the pups. Gussy looks annoyed while Frivvy is trying to hide himself behind Hanna because he knows he is next. They do not like my RC CyberTruck! They try to attack and kill it every time it comes out! Late afternoon, we headed to town to atten...
