8.30.25 Happy Birthday!! Inspired Callings.

  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. HAPPY SABBATH!!! Here! Have a Jesus Picture! Typical Sunday. Sacrament Meeting. Men's Meeting. Missionary Correlation Meeting. Eat sack lunch in truck in church parking lot. Go to incredible lesson. Drive home. Read. Study. Watch Church Videos. Eat leftovers for dinner. Watch an episode of The Chosen. The highlight was that the Leader of the Women's Group in our Congregation came to our lesson with us. Since she is from Peru, she speaks much better Spanish than us. And since she is a returned missionary, she knew what to say. She was bold, helpful, and full of the spirit all wrapped up into one! Teaching one person at a time in their home is the best way ever to bring folks closer to Christ. If you need a lesson, let me know... And also, here, have a picture of a critter at the Highland's. 8.23.25 Who Me??? Missionary Jenga. Critters!

  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here! Have a Jesus Picture! Today's line up: Sacrament Meeting, Sunday School, Missionary Correlation Meeting. We were going to go teach a lesson, but it rescheduled. So, we sat in the truck and ate sack lunches, read, studied Spanish, and watched some church videos. And then we ran out to Elk and visited with Del and Ella and Justin and this included a bunch of pets. Hope your Sabbath was good. If not, let me know and I'll make sure it's better next week! There's a lot of leeway with Senior Couples and their schedules, we're not like the younger missionaries who have a pretty fixed schedule. We decide and work on our own. But, we try to spend three days working with our congregation (mostly teaching), one day working on housing stuff, one day for temple worship, and then two days left for personal stuff, medical ...
