11-29-25 Lots of Protein. Brrrrrrrrr..........

  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. HAPPY SABBATH!!! Here! have a Jesus Picture. HE LOVES YOU! Sacrament Meeting today included the annual Primary Program in which the children in the congregation give talks, sing songs, and teach us about the Gospel of Jesus Christ. Very nicely done and very touching. And then Priesthood or "Men's Meeting". I was asked to give the lesson today. It was a good experience. Sometimes, actually a lot, I feel inadequate in this missionary thing, especially when it comes to speaking Spanish. I can't hardly remember words in English, now Spanish?? But the lesson went really well and I was given quite a few compliments on it, which I needed. God knows our hearts and our capabilities and blesses us to fulfill those. Missionary Correlation Meeting after that. We were able to teach five lessons last week, the Sister Missionaries were able to find nine new persons to teach, and the Spanish Elders brought a new person to church for the first time. ...

  Missionary/Retired Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here! Have a Jesus Picture!! The life of a missionary has its ups and has its downs. Today was an up. When we went out to do our Missionary Gig last Wednesday, our teaching appointments didn't work out. So, following our theme of "teach....or find someone to teach..." we started dropping in on members of our congregation, especially some we hadn't seen in a long time. We were able to teach one very cool lesson on trials and tribulations. Then at church today, several of the folks we dropped in on and visited with briefly came out to church. Very nice! Makes up for those nights when we come in wondering if we're doing any good at all. Sacrament Meeting. Sunday School. Missionary Correlation Meeting. We had two lessons lined up to teach after church, but the first rescheduled, so we had an hour to burn before the second.
