6.27.26 Futbol. Hay. Infection. BBQ. Food. Bagpipes. Champs.

  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. HAPPY SABBATH!!! Here! Have a Jesus Picture! He LOVES YOU! And I'm pretty sure he loves futbol too! At least He looks like He does! Sacrament Meeting. (The missionaries spoke, provided the music, and the prayer. We all love serving!) They were all in good moods because they all get to call their Dads today. Sunday School was next. Then Missionary Correlation. Back home, I fixed myself a delicious burger.....a cross between a Whopper and a Doggonner. Took a nap. Worked a bit on my book. Read. And then we watched the movie "Faith of Angels." True life story that is amazing. We hope you all had a great Father's Day! Retired/Missionary Life. Monday. We weren't out haying. But the neighbor was. It's nice to watch the farm work go down and not be the one doing it or in charge of it. I spent most of today sorting through lists of missionaries and apartments and Stewards and making assignments for inspections. And handling some stuff...

  Retired/Missionary Life. Sunday. HAPPY SABBATH!! Here! Have a Jesus Picture! He LOVES YOU!! The meetings line up: Branch Council Meeting, Sacrament Meeting, Men's Meeting (lots of talk about the World Cup.......this is a Latino branch!) Missionary Correlation Meeting. And that was plenty. We learned of the pending transfer/move of two of our missionaries, going to other places to serve. This is always a sad time, saying Good Byes. But they are incredible and their incredibleness will be a huge blessing in another area that needs them. See our final picture below. Back home, we napped, we read, we studied Spanish, we ate leftovers and whatever might be hanging out in the fridge. We watched an episode of Heartland. And we signed on to a mission-wide Zoom Call late in the evening to be uplifted and counseled. We hope your Sabbath was good too! Retired/Missionary Life. Monday. It's THAT day.....
