How We Do Retirement

  Retired Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath. Here, have a Jesus Picture. Of Him healing a woman who had an issue of blood. Relevant in our particular life. In the morning, we found a nearby congregation to worship with and went and did so. In the afternoon, we took a Geocaching hike with the grandkids to find one of the oldest Geocaches in all of Georgia. And then we returned back to their home for dinner and a movie (Arthur the King). Fun day with the grandkids. And here, have a picture of Frivvy who buried himself in the snow today. . Retired Life. Monday. Another Grandkid Day!! We spent all day at a huge Museum gawking at Dinosaurs and various other wild critters. This included watching a cool IMAX movie about Desert Elephants. Afterwards, we went for dinner at Golden Corral. I was too busy going back for thirds to take any pictures. Also, we drove for what seemed hours and never left the Atlanta Metro Area. Huge city.   Retired Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here, have a Jesus Picture! Sacrament Meeting. Men's Meeting. To the Old Folk's Home to take the Sacrament to Hanna's Mom. Everyone at church could clearly see what team I was about to root for! And Hanna wore Philly green also and was excited that even her new leg braces are green! And then the party began! Justin and the grandkids arrived, the ton of food and snacks was put out, and the game began. 100% of us cheered for the Eagles, so everyone had a happy day. Extremely happy! Because the foodies always want to know: Steak bites, Mac N Cheese, Lil Smokies, Shrimp Cream Cheese Dip, Ruffles and Dip, Doritos, Tortilla Chips with Salsa, Lots of Dew in the form of Code Red Zero, and we made a batch of homemade Strawberry Banana Ice Cream. The Ice Cream Maker gave up the ghost though. Sad. It has faithfully made us ice cream since 2013. We had a backup hand crank that we had to use. Took turns.
