3-22-25 Road Trip!

  Retired Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here, have a Jesus Picture! Sacrament Meeting. Sunday School. Choir Practice. Took the Sacrament into Hanna's Mom, who was having a good day. After lunch, we read, watched some church videos, and chilled. Great day of rest.... Retired Life. Monday. The usual routine in the morning...reading scriptures, reading another book, doing some mission prep reading, bacon and eggs for breakfast. With a couple of naps in between all that. In the afternoon, I worked on catching up the books, paying bills, looking at medical bills, all that stuff. We also spent some time with some good friends of ours helping them figure out Family History stuff and helping them prepare to worship in the temple. Once back from that, Frivvy and I went for a walk. It was sunny and nice out when we started, but on the way back, we got caught in a hail storm! 'Tis the season. 3-15-25 What time is it now??

  Retired Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here, have a Jesus Picture! I woke up this morning so confused. Some of the clocks said it was 7, some said it was 8. Which ones are correct? In addition, the alarm on my phone later went off at 7:45, even though it was set at 8:30. So confusing. The app developer is probably having a great laugh! I used to be really grouchy about the switch to Daylight Savings Time. I mean, losing an hour during tax season? Preposterous!! And no time to nap or anything. But now that I'm retired, that isn't the big deal. I can now take a nap any time I want and it's ok. The big deal is for an old man like me to figure out what time it is already. And it appears that it will take an entire day of my retirement to change all the clocks (if I can figure out which ones to change). I feel ripped off of an entire day of retirement!!!
