How We Do Retirement

  Retired Life. Sunday. Here, have a Jesus Picture! It IS Sunday... So, yea, Sacrament Meeting. Sunday School. Choir Practice. Back home and after lunch, I took a nap. (Day of rest, right?) Then did some reading. Watched a few church videos. Ate leftovers, and then we watched one of the Christian Western Movies. Love's Christmas Journey. Last one in a series of about 17 we have watched. Pretty good movies actually. And Frivvy thinks he's a lap dog. That's all. Retired Life. Monday. I did stuff around the house today. I put together a new floor lamp for our living room. (AI drew you a picture of me doing so below.) Received a box of paper we ordered and put it all away on the closet shelf. Went for the usual walk with Frivvy. Updated our family bookkeeping and issued financials for Hanna to gawk at. And finished up my Dad's Estate Tax Return.   Retired Life. Sunday. Happy Sabbath! Here's a Jesus Picture for you. We drove a lot today. In to town for Stake Conference. Back home. (eat lunch, read a bit, take a nap). Back on the road to Elk to have a yummy taco dinner with Del and Ella. (I got pictures of the pets...) Then back home. We met the Mission Office Couple at Stake Conference. They were excited to meet us and have us coming to their mission. It's getting real and really fast. Retired Life. Monday. It was nice to be home and go back to our usual routine. And since I rarely mention the routine, I will now. Each day begins with prayer, reading from a church magazine, come follow me lesson, scriptures, and a fun book (I'm reading 2 books right now, a US History book in which I'm in the late 1980s, and an End of the World Apocolyse Fiction book), write some on my book, stretches to keep my back from hurting, walk with Frivvy, do some training with Frivvy (trying to get him to go sit on his bed any time some...
